We have the Star Vs The Forces Of Evil episode "Monster Bash" and the Elena Of Avalor episode "A Spy In The Palace". The former ends on a depressing note (a well done depressing ending, but still) with Star's attempts to unite monsters and Mewmans with a party being for nothing with the former being arrested, and the tensions between the two groups being worse. Contrast with the latter episode, which is clearly pushing forth an arc with Victor and Carla, yet Naomi's personal story involving her worth is resolved within the episode. The same logic applies to Sofia The First, with the two Wicked Nine episodes we have so far pushing forth the major story, yet the respective conflicts for Chrysta and Clover are solved within their respective episodes. TV-Y rated shows generally lay on the happy, optimistic elements really thickly, even for the well done shows, while shows with higher ratings usually go for a somewhat darker or edgier tone. TV-Y rated shows are generally not known for doing story arcs, and even then, usually not until later into their runs. Please Help. Thanks ! I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
